EMC recently completed Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) at our office in Tredegar. Jason and his colleague attended our premises, at all times adhering to strict Covid-19 guidelines.

Jason took time to talk me through the process in a very friendly but professional manner and carried out the work efficiently.

I would like to personally thank Craig for his recent support in fixing a number of electrical issues in our home. Having spoken to Craig about the numerous outstanding items that had been slowly building for months, he suggested the best and most cost effective way to approach it.

Having agreed on a booking date, Jamie promptly arrived on time and with covid guidelines in place. He then quickly and efficiently worked his way through the long list of issues, diagnosing and fixing as he went. He was calm, professional, yet friendly throughout his visit, tidied up after his work and even had to pop to the local screwfix for new strip lighting for good measure.

From start to finish, I had every confidence in Jamie and my family were delighted with the result. We had a lingering issue following a rewire with another company (who we did not wish to approach again). EMC were very understanding and managed to schedule me in despite being very busy.

Issue was identified and fixed in the same visit, with helpful and friendly explanation of how the issue occurred and how it would be fixed. Communication with the office was clear and easy, with options to call, text or email. Costs were explained up front with no surprises afterwards. Craig and his team have undertaken electrical work for me over the past few years. It started with the work on our equine hospital working under the main contractor.

The standard of their work made me employ them for ongoing work at our hospital but also for me privately both in the house and externally.

I would like to thank Craig and the EMC team for the work carried out at our home this week. After our electric oven and grill stopped working we had 2 different engineers out to look at it and on the 3 visit between them the engineers suggested it was an issue wit the neutral feed and to contact an electrician.

I immediately received a quote by email which I accepted to confirm the booking and on Monday midday on the dot Craig arrived and in half an hour had identified the issue, which was the cable feeding the cooker was too thin and had burned out. Within the hour he had replaced the cable, taken his notes, put the cook back and left.
