Whilst our full Fire Alarm Inspections are biannual, weekly testing of the system is also mandatory where at least one different call point is to be activated every time to ensure it is functionality. This is to be carried out by a “responsible person” often found to be the business owner or a designated employee. The individual must be appropriately trained in order to perform these tests and understand how the system operates.
